We operate in and around Blount County, Alabama, rescuing animals that are lost, abandoned or stray. We can effectively house dogs, cats, birds, and small farm animals, on a space available basis.

Upon intake, animals are taken for an initial health check and then placed under a 10-day quarantine & observation period. If any health issues are found during initial check, they are evaluated and treated accordingly until the animal is in a good, general health state. All of our animals, at the time of adoption, have received the following:

- all age appropriate vaccinations

- spay/neutered

- PetLink microchip

- current on flea/tick & heart worm prevention.

- deworming at appropriate intervals, when necessary

Once our animals are determined to be "adoptable", they are made available to the general public via social media, Adopt-A-Pet and Petfinder. We adopt our animals locally and out of state in order to find the best possible home for each of our adoptable animals. IF it is determined that an animal cannot be rehomed, we operate as a sanctuary as well; and have several "sanctuary" animals already that will live out their days with us,
